Cottonwood Fire Department Lieutenant/Paramedic Brady Casson
COTTONWOOD, AZ (October 18, 2013)
– The Cottonwood Fire Department is pleased to announce Lieutenant/Paramedic Brady Casson was recently
selected as a recipient of the 2013 Motorola Solutions Foundation Future
Leaders Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded by the International
Association of Fire Chiefs Foundation in conjunction with the Motorola
Solutions Foundation.
This scholarship is designed to
provide financial assistance to members of the fire service who are pursuing higher
education in fire science or a related field of study. The Motorola Solutions
Foundations scholarship was established to “recognize true professionals who
have and will continue to demonstrate leadership, integrity, and outstanding
values within the fire service.”
Lieutenant Casson is pursuing a
Bachelors of Applied Science degree in Emergency Management through Arizona
State University. This degree program will expand Lieutenant Casson’s knowledge
and experience base and prepare him for advanced leadership positions within
the fire service and emergency management field.
